Seeks a dedicated and creative math instructor who cultivates students’ excitement for critical thinking and problem solving. The instructor’s primary responsibilities will include teaching multiple sections of Geometry and Geometry Honors. Additional responsibilities may also include teaching sections of Algebra I or II, serving on faculty advisory committees, sponsoring student organizations, or coaching depending on the candidate's interest. Position will begin August 1, 2022.

Math Instructor Instruction of
Geometry - This course covers the concepts of Plane Geometry and extends these concepts to 3-dimensional situations where possible. The first semester includes formal proofs. In the second semester, calculations are emphasized with formally proven theorems as part of the explanation.
Geometry Honors- The objectives of this course include all the objectives of the regular Geometry course with more emphasis on formal proofs and more challenging problems. Knowing the formulas is assumed and given information will not be the exact dimensions needed for the formulas. The challenge is to use the given information to calculate the dimensions needed to compute the area or volume.

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Degree should be in the content area or appropriate state certificate, or 18 credit hours in the content area taught - 12 credit hours in education or a valid, appropriate state certificate
