Overview
The Coordinator of Dominican Ministries and Service with the Dominican Mission Officer will design, implement and oversee a plan in collaboration with other college groups that promotes the Dominican pillars of study, prayer/spirituality, community and service. This program will provide leadership, direction and opportunities in light of the developmental needs of the students from the day and adult divisions. This is a full-time 35 hour per week position during the Academic year from August 1- June 30.

Qualifications

• Education: BA (MA preferred) in theology, pastoral ministry, divinity or related fields/disciplines.
• Experience: Experience in young adult ministry.
• Preferred Experience: Experience in a Catholic Academic and/or Pastoral Ministry setting.

Ability to work collaboratively within the college community, good communication skills, to actively recruit students, to be flexible with time and schedules, to be committed to a culturally diverse, young adult population.

Special Work Schedule Requirements
In order to meet students needs, this position will have a flexible schedule which requires some weekend and evening hours. Periodically this position will require some multi-day experiences such as the Dominican College Preaching in Action Conference, Alternative Spring Break and student outreach opportunities.
