The Board of Directors of Trinity High School is seeking a passionate and mission-focused President to serve as the Chief Executive Officer of Trinity High School.

Founded in 1917 by the Dominican Sisters of Sinsinawa, by women and for the advancement of women, Trinity High School is a Catholic college-preparatory high school located in River Forest, Illinois. As a sponsored institution of the Dominican Veritas Ministries, Trinity has earned the reputation as one of the premier institutions focused on empowering young women and educating them for their future, intellectually, spiritually, socially, and morally.
At Trinity High School, the goal of empowering young women is facilitated by a single-gender environment which fosters a community of growth and confidence, enabling young women to fully embrace the highest academic challenges, develop resilience, and gain leadership experience.
Trinity is a member of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Organization in Geneva, Switzerland, the premier global honors program, and offers students the opportunity to achieve an IB diploma or certificates in selected disciplines. Trinity is the oldest IB school in Illinois, celebrating 30 years and hundreds of successful graduates of the International Baccalaureate Program. In addition, our partnership with Dominican University, located just a few blocks from our school, allows our students the opportunity to take dual enrollment credit courses.
Trinity also has an incredibly passionate and engaged community with 95% of the student body participating in competitive athletic teams, creative fine and performing arts curriculum, faith-filled service programs, and student-led clubs.

ABOUT THE POSITION
The President is the leader and spokesperson for Trinity and is expected and entrusted to:
exemplify and ensure that Trinity’s legacy as a Dominican, Catholic school is embedded in the culture in ways that bring them to life,
further develop and lead the implementation of the strategic plan,
embrace and enhance the caring, inclusive, collaborative community and culture,
foster academic excellence through the International Baccalaureate(IB)and college preparatory programs,
embody inspirational leadership to students, staff, parents, alumnae, and external community, and
prudently steward and grow the resources of the school.
The President is the chief promoter and advocate of the school, serving as an inspirational voice in the community. Reporting to the Board of Directors and leading the Executive Leadership Team, the President is responsible for promoting external relations, maintaining financial health, achieving enrollment goals and engaging with all stakeholders. The President will be a visible and active presence within the school, building strong relationships throughout the Trinity community and beyond.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As the leader of the Trinity community, the President has responsibility for the following:
Ensuring that Trinity’s Dominican, Catholic identity, and the spirit of the Sisters of Sinsinawa are embedded in the culture in ways that bring them to life.
Designing and implementing an organizational structure that enables the Trinity community to achieve the School’s vision and mission, now and in the future.
Developing and managing a robust marketing program and student recruitment effort to attract students and grow enrollment.
Directing an effective Institutional Advancement program that provides financial resources to meet operational needs, continues to grow the endowment, and provides scholarships.
Overseeing the hiring, growth and development of all employees.
Serving as the School’s spokesperson and representative to Dominican Veritas Ministries, the Archdiocese, associations, and local communities.
Overseeing School finances, including the development of the annual budget in collaboration with the Chief Financial Officer, Principal, and other administrators, subject to the approval of the Board of Directors.
QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS
The successful candidate for President of Trinity High School will be an individual who:
Has a strong personal value system, grounded in the Catholic tradition.
Possesses a genuine passion for single-gender Catholic education and the empowerment of young women.
Is an experienced administrator skilled in collaborative leadership and a commitment to growth of the school, the students, and the teachers.
Has demonstrated experience and successes in areas including development, marketing, finance, administration, and public relations.
Has the ability to effectively articulate and communicate the vision and mission of the institution to a broad range of constituents.
Has an advanced degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
Is a recognized and respected member of their community, with executive presence and gravitas, along with an accessible and approachable style, and a willingness to listen and encourage the development of new ideas.
