Saint David’s School is an independent PreK-8 school for boys, located in Manhattan. Founded in 1951 in the Catholic tradition, the school welcomes all people.
An opening is available in the Development Office for the full-time, 12-month position as Development Associate. The Development Associate provides support to members of the development team. S/he reports directly to the Director of Development and Alumni Relations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Donation management: Enter donations on the Veracross database and provide donation reports to the Business Office
Donor acknowledgement: Prepare donor acknowledgement letters in a timely manner
Database management: Update constituent records as needed
Prepare gifts reconciliation reports for the Business Office
Prepare Development Office mailings (paper and digital)
Provide support in the planning and execution of Development-run special events; Staff evening events as needed
Provide administrative and general office support to Development team
Qualifications and Preferences:
A bachelor’s degree with some professional experience is required
Proficiency with Microsoft applications
Knowledge of Veracross database preferred
Experience with auction bidding systems a plus
Ability to collaborate with colleagues and build relationships with the school’s constituents
Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication (oral and written) skills
Flexibility and ability to multi-task and manage a diverse range of projects
Salary Range dependent on experience: pro-rated portion of $60,000 - $75,000
