Role: Advancement Associate for Database Management
The Associate for Database Management’s primary responsibility is the general functioning of the Advancement Office’s data: maintaining records and processes in Raiser’s Edge. The Associate will also be called on to provide administrative and project support for the Advancement Office.
Reporting:
The Associate is an essential member of the Advancement team and reports directly to the Vice President for Advancement. This role works collaboratively with and assists the other members of the team, including the Vice President for Strategic Initiatives; the Director of Alumni Relations; and the Director of the Annual Fund.
Salary range
$58,000 - $65,000 annually, plus benefits.
Status:
Full-time; exempt; not overtime eligible. This position occasionally requires extra hours, nights, and weekends, as well as attendance at many School held events.
Job Responsibilities:
Records all gifts in the database; processes and deposits all revenues with the Finance Office; generates acknowledgement letters; and ensures proper donor record management.
Assists with donor relations, responds to general donor inquiries, and maintains accuracy of constituent database records.
Attends fundraising and stewardship events (e.g. reunions and various receptions) and assists in the planning and implementation of those events.
Manages reconciliations with the Finance Office.
Works closely with the Director of the Annual Fund to generate listings for the President's Report.
Supports communication efforts and assists with various emails, direct mail, and social media marketing campaigns.
Assists with and, at times, coordinates office mailings, including solicitations and event communications.
Performs other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to, office operational tasks.

Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in business, liberal arts, communications, non-profit management, or another related field is required.
Experience with a non-profit database or data management system is required. Facility with Raiser’s Edge and its various modules is strongly preferred.
High comfort with data and reporting, and the ability to use high levels of confidentiality.
Facility with the Google Suite and with the Microsoft Office suite, especially Word and Excel.
Demonstrated ability to work independently; be resourceful; and initiate and follow through on projects.
Strong interpersonal skill and work ethic.
