The Associate Superintendent is responsible for the overall strategic direction, leadership and administration of Archdiocesan Catholic schools located within the city of Detroit. Through guidance and approval from the Superintendent of Catholic Schools, the Associate Superintendent has broad authority to lead and govern the day-to-day operations of the city Catholic schools. The Associate Superintendent is responsible for creating a culture of collaboration within the Catholic elementary schools serving the families in Detroit.  He or she, in collaboration of the pastors, principals, and the Department of Catholic schools, would seek out solutions to increase fiscal viability and ensure academic excellence within a Christ-centered, Faith forming environment.  The Associate Super
