Reporting to the Senior AssociateDirector, Stewardship & Donor Engagement, the Senior Principal GiftsStewardship Reporting Officer supports the fundraising, communications anddonor relations efforts of an expanding and ambitious principal gifts programin an effort to cultivate, solicit and steward the University's most generousdonors and top philanthropic prospects. The individual in this position will focus on developing andimplementing personalized and comprehensive and strategic impact, recognition,and engagement materials, as part of a culture of high performance, excellenceand quality.
At the direction of the SeniorAssociate Director and the Director, Stewardship & Donor Engagement, thisposition will produce original impact report content or tailor existing contentfor donors that support the University at the principal giving level. The incumbent will collaborate on impactreports in partnership with the Stewardship & Donor Engagement reportingand recognition teams. They will alsopartner across advancement teams on the preparation of highly tailored content,developed in collaboration with frontline fundraisers and content specialists.
This position will participate inand add insight to meetings related to principal giving projects and must beable to work effectively and collaboratively across university advancement tomaximize the effectiveness of each project, by capitalizing on the expertise ofthe various groups.
Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $70,500 to $88,150;salary commensurate with relevant experience.
RequirementsThis position requires a Bachelor'sdegree; graduate degree preferred. Theminimum requirements are five to seven years related work experience incommunications, marketing, fundraising, stewardship or donor relations for anonprofit or higher education institution. Preference for experience at an institution of higher education or ahospital.
Thecandidate should have strong project management skills and follow throughnecessary to develop plans and timelines, monitor priorities, and progressagainst goals. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and perform multipleduties with minimal supervision, with a high degree of accuracy, keen attentionto detail, and follow-through under tight deadlines. Capacity to work in afast-paced environment involving high-level stakeholders; ability to multi-taskand prioritize effectively.
Outstanding oral and writtencommunication, strategic planning, budget development, competency and soundfluency with endowment fund financials, and experience driving revenueachievement in partnership with senior leaders is essential. Exceptional writing skills, comfort developingcogent content from scratch, and initiative to work independently in novel,diverse subject matter areas. Comfortdeveloping financials and budgets (for development purposes).
The position requires excellentinterpersonal skills to manage collaborator and client expectations; ademonstrated ability to compose strong, clearly written material, and theability to translate often complex information with an understanding of writingfor print, web, and e-mail. In addition,the successful candidate will have experience using word processing andspreadsheet software; Canva, InDesign or document design software.
