The duties of a PE teacher include creating lesson plans, preparing classroom activities, organizing teaching materials, evaluating student performance, maintaining classroom records, meeting with parents, teachers and other professionals, and participating in campus events Teach a range of physical education and health classes, covering topics such as fitness, nutrition, mental health, and wellness Serve as a member of the Physical Education Department, attend departmental meetings, develop and update course curricula, purchase supplies within a budget, collaboratively plan experiential learning opportunities and review textbooks Support the school’s mission and the mission of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet
