OVERVIEW St. Jean Baptiste High School is an all-girls Catholic school with a focus on the education of young women of diverse strengths and backgrounds. A committed faculty, a supportive team of guidance counselors, and small class sizes enable the young women, who come primarily from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, to reach their full potential. Ninety percent of St. Jean’s 300 students are Latina, Black, or multi-racial; 80 percent receive tuition assistance; and 75 percent come from families with incomes of $47,000 or less.
