Marian High School is a Catholic college preparatory school with a student population of 700 and is located in northern Indiana in the Diocese of Fort Wayne South Bend. The school’s Patroness, Our Lady of Lourdes, guides and teaches as she did for Bernadette in her apparitions, that every life holds value and beauty. The faculty and staff show care for each student while challenging each to reach their greatest potential. They teach students to care for each other and to show that love through service.

Students’ educational excellence is achieved through a challenging college preparatory curriculum taught by a competent, enthusiastic faculty and supported by a dedicated staff. The curriculum takes into account students’ individual learning styles, interests, and abilities and provides strategies for enhancing success.
In addition to the core academic coursework, students are offered opportunities to participate in AP Courses and Dual Credit Courses. Marian offers the most Dual Credit Courses of any school in northern Indiana.

Additionally, students are offered over 25 extra-curricular clubs and activities.

The ideal candidate will serve as the school’s spiritual and educational leader and is responsible for exercising judgment in implementing a broad array of programs and functions. These responsibilities encompass spiritual development, curriculum, co-curricular activities, discipline, personnel practices, school facilities, marketing, financial stewardship, and community relations. In fulfilling this role, the Principal is supported by an Assistant Principal, Dean of Students, Business Manager, Director of Mission Advancement, and Athletic Director.
The new Principal will be a dynamic, visionary, and experienced leader, while being comfortable with and capable of addressing the challenges facing most Catholic schools today. He or she must have demonstrated proficiency in building and maintaining internal and external community relationships that will ensure Marian’s continued success and sustainability in initiatives such as the current capital campaign and beyond.
