Saint Joseph Catholic School in Greenville, SC, is in search of a special person to help form our middle school students in the likeness of Christ. Middle School Campus Ministry provides a number of significant opportunities for students to explore faith, friendship, and community, and it is a fundamental component of our school’s mission. The Middle School Campus Minister will work together with school leadership and the High School Campus Ministry Team to create and foster a culture of encounter so that our students' hearts and minds are open to growing in relationship with Christ.
Specific position responsibilities for middle school include, but are not limited to, the following:
Plan and coordinate middle school retreat and prayer opportunities.
Prepare and promote authentic service opportunities throughout the school year.
Host a variety of events that bring students together for fun and fellowship.
Coordinate trips to local, state and/or national conferences and events that support students in their faith journeys.
Serve as a resource for faculty and staff in matters of faith and spiritual development of our students.
Teach some middle school Theology classes (possible)
Bachelor’s degree in Theology or related field (Master’s preferred)
Practicing, faithful Catholic committed to continued spiritual growth and development
Experience working with middle school students in a school or parish setting
