Overview: St. Anthony School, a vibrant, 360-student Catholic school in the Archdiocese of Seattle, has openings for full-time teachers in grades ranging from 1st to 7th grade beginning in the 2023-24 school year. With two classrooms per grade, teachers work collaboratively to plan and participate in professional learning community (PLC) activities, and have common planning time and instructional aide support. We are seeking to fill these positions with positive, prepared and dedicated teachers who desire to join our strong faculty team and our supportive school community of faith and learning.
These positions require successful candidates to be practicing Catholics. In addition, candidates must hold a current State of Washington teacher certification certificate or the ability to obtain one if certified by another state (a student teacher working under a mentor teacher may also be considered).
Salary/Benefits Information: Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications. Salary range: $40,000 to $80,000. A comprehensive package of benefits is offered including two medical plan options, dental, vision, life, accidental death and disability, long term disability, pension, 403(b), HSA, FSA, and generous sick leave, vacation, and holidays.
History & Mission: For nearly 100 years, St. Anthony School has served families from Renton and the surrounding communities. Since our founding by the Sisters of Charity (Halifax), we have pursued our mission to teach children to be "joyful, loving and Christ-centered individuals, capable of serving others and bettering the world." That tradition continues in our school today with a dedicated and caring faculty/staff and a strong community of students, parents, parishioners, and alumni. Together, we have a commitment to not only provide a rigorous educational base for our students, but also to build their character and strengthen their faith. To learn more, visit sasr.org.
