The Education Department at The Catholic University of America seeks to fill a Clinical Assistant Professor position in Elementary Teacher Education, to begin on August 21, 2023. The appointment is a non-tenure track position with responsibilities for clinical education and service. Clinical faculty may participate in research or other scholarly or creative activities.
The primary responsibility for the faculty appointment is teaching coursework and providing clinical supervision for Elementary teacher education candidates. Additional duties include attendance at faculty meetings and school events, advising students, assisting with accreditation reporting and curricular review, and collaboration on projects as needed.

Qualifications:
Doctoral degree (Ed.D. or Ph.D.) in Teacher Education, Educational Leadership, or related field;
Significant teaching and/or administrative experience in grades K-6;
Reading Specialist experience preferred;
Familiar with curriculum development, iteration, sequencing, and implementation;
