MercyOne Dyersville Medical Center has an excellent part-time employment opportunity for a licensed and certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to provide care in both the Emergency Department and inpatient hospital setting located in Dyersville, Iowa.

The selected candidate will function independently at the highest level of practice. General responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assessment, stabilization, diagnosis, treatment, and disposition of ED patients. Hospitalist responsibilities include admission, management of care, consultation with specialists, disposition planning, transfer, and discharge.

This part-time opportunity offers a rotating shift schedule.

Interested candidates must have successfully completed a Master of Nursing program or higher. Additional requirements include current licensure in the state of Iowa as a Nurse Practitioner (NP), demonstrated competency as a NP, excellent verbal and written communication skills, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work with a team.

Previous emergency or critical care experience is preferred. All providers are required to have ATLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
