Position Summary
This position reports to the Director of Transfer & Graduate Admissions and works on the development and implementation of student recruitment and competitive marketing plans for undergraduate nursing programs at a high quality, selective institution. This person will be responsible for interfacing with on- and off-campus partners to help the institution meet and exceed enrollment goals, particularly in undergraduate nursing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
(1) Identify, plan, and/or participate in on- and off-campus recruitment activities to professionally represent and promote the university to external constituencies, including but not limited to hospital visits, information sessions, and other identified student markets. (2) Serve as an information resource to students, faculty, and staff by maintaining knowledge of transfer coursework, admission requirements, and college selection process, curriculum expectations, and program outcomes.
(3) Evaluate data from self-initiated and standard enrollment reports to determine actions which will maximize recruitment territory management. (4) Assist with the development and execution of communication and marketing content. (5) Work with the university academic sector to design efficient and effective guidelines and processes for admission. (6) This position requires night and weekend work and moderate travel throughout the year. (7) All other duties as assigned. Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree
Experience:
Experience working with faculty/staff/students from post-secondary institutions
Preferred Qualifications
Education:
Master's degree
Experience:
Three to four (3-4) years of experience in higher education recruitment, preferably in the healthcare sector
Knowledge of the healthcare industry
Experience with social media outlets
Networking skills especially with educational leadership, medical staff leadership, and administrative leadership
Supervisory experience
Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and respond to the market trends to renew or adapt marketing strategies.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Must be self-motivated with strong attention to detail
Passion for higher education
Demonstrated computer competency including the use of a CRM, preferably Slate
Strength in data analysis and problem-solving
Innovative and goal-oriented
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to connecting and building relationships with prospective students
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication and solid interpersonal skills
Physical Requirements
Job may require lifting light-weight objects (1 to 10 pounds) with no repetitive bending or stooping. Occasionally lift average-weight objects (1 to 10 pounds).
