Fr. Augustine Tolton Regional Catholic High School in Columbia, MO has an opening for a Facilities Manager. A successful candidate is a practicing Catholic in good standing who can minister to students regardless of subject area or a teacher who, consistent with the Mission of Fr. Augustine Tolton Regional Catholic High School, promotes and teaches the Catholic faith as reasonably determined by the principal. Responsibilities:
Developing maintenance procedures and ensuring implementation
Carrying out inspections of the facility to identify and resolve issues
Checking electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems to ensure functionality
Planning and coordinating all installations and refurbishments
Managing the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards
Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs
Monitor expenses and the budget for maintenance
Supervise the school custodian
Assist custodian with cleaning as needed
Handle service contracts
Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
Perform analysis and forecasting
Set up for events on a regular basis

Qualifications:
Proven experience in property/facilities management
Well-versed in operations and Facilities Management best practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Analytical and critical thinking skills
Strong work ethic
Attention to detail
Ability to work independently

Hours:
Full time position working during the school day
Evening and weekend hours will be required for events and building emergencies

Physical Demands and other requirements:
Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks
Required to maintain composure and to communicate appropriately in words and actions
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to climb a ladder
