St. Brendan the Navigator School, a flourishing K-8 Catholic school of 540 students in the Columbus suburb of Hilliard, Ohio, is seeking a dedicated, experienced, and faith-filled leader for the position of Principal beginning in the summer of 2023.   

St. Brendan School boasts experienced, dedicated, and innovative faculty members, staff members, and administrators. Working closely with the Pastor, the next principal will be charged with leading a vibrant school community and giving particular emphasis to growing the school's advancement program. 

St. Brendan School is dedicated to educating children in a Catholic community that fosters spiritual growth, values each student's uniqueness, and guides students to realize their potential. The school is blessed by parents, teachers, priests, and other staff that put our students' needs above all else. The next principal can expect to lead a fully realized school community connected to an active, family-oriented parish. 

The school's curriculum features comprehensive learning programs in religion, language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, music, art, physical education, health, Spanish, and STEM. Additionally, the school offers an extensive program to assist students who need intervention. This program includes intervention specialists, speech, occupational, and physical therapies, and a full-time reading specialist. 

The House System is a trademark program that trains and guides students in six House Pillars: Leadership, Service, Community, Faith, Preparation, and Spirit. The House System fosters a community that each student can truly call home. Programs in athletics and other co-curricular activities provide students with a well-rounded school experience.

St. Brendan School seeks a Principal who is a proven leader, capable of leading for growth in the mission of evangelization, educational excellence, and institutional advancement. Candidates must be practicing Catholics and possess a master's degree and administrator's license (or be eligible to obtain one). 

The preferred start date is July 1, 2023. Because a strong interim administration is in place, candidates available for July 1, 2024 or sooner are encouraged to apply.
