The School of Nursing programs are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.Reporting to the Associate Dean of Nursing, and supporting all Chairs and faculty, this important role will have multiple responsibilities including, but not limited to:*Oversee all clerical operations within the School of Nursing and in support of the Associate Dean for Nursing*Distribute and organize into tables annual surveys comprising: student graduation, alumni, and employee surveys.*Coordinate the Systematic Program Evaluation process, including formatting and entering data*Process supply orders, including laboratory supplies for new nursing laboratories*Sign off of student workers and others time cards as assigned*Coordinate the annual Nursing Advisory Board Meeting, in collaboration with the Associate Dean.*Assist with organizing the Sigma Theta Tau Pi Epsilon Nursing Honor Society meetings and events*Manage details of annual Blessing of the Hands, Pinning Program, Advisory Board meeting and other assigned programs.*Assist with organizing the yearly education offering, which is open to the nursing community, including Associate Degree colleagues and students.*Arrange room reservations*Take minutes, as needed, for the SON standing committees.*Organize the schedule, with help of faculty, for the simulations and lab time.*Connect with adjunct faculty to offer returning adjunct faculty teaching positions.*Review View Point, or other designated system, for student compliance in submitting required clinical/practicum paperwork. Send needed reminder to student and be a resource for students using the system.*Review the Massachusetts Centralized Clinical Placement system for updates on additional clinical requirements and student orientation.*Coordinate with practicum professor to organize, send appropriate paperwork to preceptors, and obtain preceptor resumes.*Collaborate with Chairs on obtaining and updating academic affiliation agreement.*Create and send calendar for students to sign up for SON committee meetings. *Complete credit card, expense reports and other reports as assigned.*Perform other duties as assigned.This is a twelve-month position. Monday-Friday with occasional weekend and evening commitments.Our ideal candidates will preferably possess a Bachelor's degree and have excellent written and oral communications skills along with strong organizational and project management skills.
