Math Teacher – Full-time Fr. Tolton Catholic High School – 2023-24 School Year Responsibilities: * Teaches math classes. May have openings in the following areas: Geometry, Algebra 2, and/or AP Calculus * Utilizes technology to impact student learning and increase communication * Demonstrates support for the mission of Fr. Tolton Catholic High School by attitude, words, actions, and integrity * Assists in maintaining discipline throughout the student body, in adherence to the Student Handbook * Serves with parents, faculty, and student groups, as requested in advancing educational and related activities and objectives * Possibility to sponsor, coach, or supervise extra-curricular activities * Performs other duties as assigned by the Principal Qualification: * Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in related field * State teaching licensure/certificate is preferred but not a hiring prerequisite * Familiarity with Google Suite (Gmail, docs, sheets, etc), Google Classroom, and RenWeb/FACTS is preferred * Understands the high school education culture and is able to interact professionally with students, faculty, and parents * Ability to maintain professionalism in challenging situations Physical Demands and other requirements: * Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks such as computer keyboarding, writing, and reading * Required to monitor students in a variety of locations including those with noise and activity * Required to maintain composure and to communicate appropriately in words and actions
