Summary of Position:
Cardinal Newman School of Columbia, South Carolina is accepting applications for an immediate opening for a part-time Chemistry teacher for the remainder of the 2022-2023 academic year. We are seeking a subject area expert who, in collaboration with the administration is responsible for our students scientific development and inquiry.
Classes would include three Honors Chemistry classes.
Qualified candidates will possess a strong educational background in Chemistry or a science-related field, and must have a passion for inspiring an appreciation for scientific inquiry. The ideal candidate will hold a minimum of a master’s degree.

Tracing its roots to Ursuline academy, founded in 1858, Cardinal Newman School opened on the parish grounds of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Columbia as both Ursuline and Catholic High schools respectively until moving to Forest Drive in 1961, where it remained until December 2015. In January 2016, Cardinal Newman opened a state-of-the-art, 76-acre campus, 16 acres added in 2019, at 2945 Alpine Road for students in seventh through twelfth grades.
