Provide high level administrative support and engage in recurring contact with senior administrators and trustees of the College. Ensure that all administrative operations run smoothly and efficiently for Advancement, Career Advising and Development. Supervise support staff as part of a shared services model throughout the Division. Identify opportunities to improve the work flow of the staff. Provide support staff with tools, resources, policies, and initiatives that enable best work. Manage, cultivate and empower the support staff to achieve measurable results. Perform daily tasks for the office of the Vice President for Advancement, the offices of Development, Alumni and Career Advising.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Job duties specific to this position:
Perform daily operations for the office of the Vice President for Advancement and the offices of Development, Alumni, and Career Advising
Generate, receive and maintain confidential and sensitive files, information and reports and ensure security of files
Write correspondence between departments, train support staff, oversee hiring/managing of work study students, perform job description and evaluation records management
Manage operational budget with the Vice President
Manage invoices and budgetary tasks relating to the aforementioned offices and related events
Maintain the divisional calendar and the Vice President's calendar; this includes appointments, travel, special event planning and scheduling for the Vice President and others where appropriate (i.e. President)
Serve as liaison for divisional staff, other divisions, alumni and the College's constituents
In consultation with the Vice President, manages the Advancement, Governance and Honors Committees of the Board of Trustees; this includes coordinating, planning, creating materials for and attending in person the various meetings;maintaining accurate minutes and records; and participating in the monthly governance and advancement committee leadership calls

Performs a variety of related duties as assigned.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in Higher Ed.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent required.
Excellent customer service skills
Strong written and oral communication skills.
