Welcome to the CHRISTUS Spohn Shoreline PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program. On behalf of our preceptors and department of pharmacy, thank you for your interest in our program. The mission of CHRISTUS Health is “to extend the healing ministry of Jesus Christ.” The pharmacy department supports this mission by providing high quality comprehensive pharmaceutical care. The purpose of our residency program is to build on Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) education and outcomes to contribute to the development of clinical pharmacists responsible for medication-related care of patients with a wide range of conditions, eligible for board certification, and eligible for postgraduate year two (PGY2) pharmacy residency training. We look for candidates who are self-motivated, eager to learn, and dedicated to providing the best care to our patients.
