Primarily responsible for serving as senior financial leader for the rural hospitals managed by Centura Health in Northwest Kansas. The regional CFO is an integral member of the senior management team at each hospital and provides financial leadership, analysis, and operational support to all levels of management. The regional CFO participates in regional network development and leadership activities, is responsible for setting overall financial policies and procedures for the regional network, and is ultimately responsible for accounting and finance functions.
In addition to serving as Regional CFO in NW Kansas, this position provides financial leadership, analysis, education, and advisory support to all rural hospitals operated by, and affiliated with, Centura Health in Colorado and Kansas. The Regional CFO reports to the Vice President of Rural Health with a matrix reporting structure to the Group CFO of the Greater Colorado & Kansas Operating Group.
What You Bring/Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, required. Master's degree, preferred.
- Five years financial management experience in a hospital or health care entity, at least two years in a Critical Access Hospital.
- Prior hospital CFO experience, preferred.
