Vice President for Enrollment Management
The Opportunity
Holy Family University is seeking an innovative, collaborative, and strategic leader as Vice President for Enrollment Management (VPEM). Joining Holy Family University at this time presents an exciting opportunity for an exceptional enrollment professional who will lead enrollment successes in traditional, adult, graduate populations. Under the direction of President Anne Prisco, Ph.D, the VP of Enrollment Management will have the unique opportunity to develop a new vision and strategic enrollment plan for the University as it expands market-driven academic program offerings such as cybersecurity, computer science, digital marketing, and eSports and gaming administration, as well as student engagement initiatives such as a new state-of-the-art eSports Center.
The VPEM is responsible for enrollment management including undergraduate and graduate admissions and financial aid; will serve on the President’s Cabinet; and will partner with marketing and communications, student life (including athletics), and academic affairs in order to increase enrollment, retention, and graduation rates.
The VPEM must be knowledgeable in and utilize best practices in all aspects of enrollment management in order to develop and implement innovative and insightful strategic enrollment plans for adult, graduate and undergraduate admissions, grounded in data and research; in partnership with the Vice President for Marketing & Communications, develop marketing and communication strategies that build the University’s brand and support achievement of enrollment goals, including go-to-market strategies for new academic programs; ensure effectiveness in all aspects of the recruitment funnel and pipeline including development of the prospect and inquiry pools, conversion and application processing, application review and yield activities; leverage financial aid ensuring a highly effective scholarship and aid distribution process; and work collaboratively with the Vice President of Academic Affairs for program development efforts and to include faculty effectively within the recruitment process; and the ability to coach and mentor the admissions and financial aid staff as well as others on campus engaged in aspects of enrollment management.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will have at least five years of enrollment leadership experience in a higher education setting, and will hold a minimum of a master’s degree in educational administration or related field.
As a goal-oriented, strategic thinker effectively translating strategy to operations, the VPEM must be innovative and proactive in identifying new recruitment ideas, marketing strategies, financial aid strategies, and other institutional efforts that will drive the achievement of enrollment goals. Knowledge of regional, national, and international demographics and trends and how they might impact the market for prospective students interested in HFU are important, along with knowledge of enrollment strategies, key performance indicators, and other critical factors affecting enrollment of traditional and post-traditional students. Must be able to attend events outside of regular University hours and travel/drive to events as needed is required. Technology utilized at the University includes but is not limited to: MS Office Suite, CampusESP, Salesforce/TargetX, Ellucian Colleague, Canvas, WebAdvisor, Google/Gmail.
