MISSION:

In service of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, NCEA strengthens Catholic school communities by convening all stakeholders and providing data, advocacy, professional development, and resources to support faith formation.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

NCEA is seeking a multimedia and professional learning enthusiast with a background in education to help build learning experiences for NCEA members. The Educational Content Coordinator is responsible for curating, organizing and maintaining internal and external professional learning content.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review and categorize NCEA multimedia resources and publications.
• Research, glean and identify quality learning materials and excellent programs from external sources.
• Organize and maintain an online learning library to capture and highlight content for educators.
• Provide support for in-person and virtual webinars, workshops and other membership events.
• Helps update website content and other correspondence for professional learning
• Assist with planning outreach for NCEA podcasts and research for publications
• Regularly search current events and news regarding Catholic education.
• Participates in weekly virtual department and NCEA meetings.
• Assist with minutes during department meetings and assists with organization of team files
• Provides support for member inquiries
• Travels onsite to annual events
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree with a focus in education
• 2-4 years of experience in education with expertise in Catholic education preferred.
• Knowledge of and ability to recognize quality learning sources
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once
• Takes initiative and follows through on tasks and deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills and works well under pressure.
• Proficiency in technology including Microsoft Suite, and online research skills
• Thrives in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Self-driven and motivated
• Strong understanding of Catholic education and the mission of NCEA.
• Remote position with travel required (4-8 times a year).
