The only PICU in the state of Texas with a Gold level Beacon Award through the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses.We support patients after cardiothoracic, neurosurgical, orthopedic, ENT, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and dental procedures. Our high acuity PICU also cares for patients on extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), supports our Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) program, and receives patients from outlying hospitals
