Overview This position is responsible for the management and oversight of the division's information systems to ensure accuracy and integrity of data and processes. Plans for implementation of new software/system upgrade initiatives, including testing. Contributes to process configuration, layout testing, and development of advanced queries and reports. Will often serve as champion for the division's technology initiatives. Provides support to other HR functions to include, but not limited to the student health process, benefits processes, all data transfers and audits, ACA reporting, and third-party vendor audits/communications. Works as business partner with Technology Services to ensure implementations and problem resolution.
Responsibilities • Strategically designs, develops, and/or supports new initiatives/system upgrades and processes for the HR/Payroll information systems. • Serves as first point of contact for functional users when production issues are encountered. Serves as functional expert. Works with users to define issue, analyze and resolve. If unable to resolve, will coordinate with Technology Services to resolve issue. • Audits and verifies data in the Human Resource/Payroll system to ensure accuracy and data integrity. • Designs advanced queries to generate reports to assist in audits, system management and function, and the management of (HR) human capital. • Provides support to other human resource functions to include but not limited to, student health process, benefit programs, data transfers and audits, ACA reporting, third party vendor reconciliations and communications.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree required, as well as at least five (5) years of related experience and knowledge of at least two (2) supporting payroll processes. Three (3) years' experience working with enterprise-wide data systems, preferably PeopleSoft.
