Assist with advisor duties for Associated Student Body (ASB).
Keep and updated list of all ASB Officers and at-large members.
Oversee student clubs.
Coordinate Activities/ASB fundraisers.
Coordinate and attend major student events:
Welcome Dance, Socials, Homecoming Game and Dance, Senior Cruise, Winter Formal, Spring Dance, Prom, Grad Night, ASB Camp, Lunchtime Activities/Events, Officer and Court Elections, Class activities, School Rallies, Spirit Weeks, Red Ribbon Week, Every 15 Minutes, Safe and Sober Prom Week.
Assist with and attend all-school events:
Blue and Gold, Eagle Classic Golf Tournament, Mother’s Club Fashion Show and Christmas Production.
Coordinate/attend Senior Class activities:
Senior Cap and Gowns/Announcements, Senior Booklet, Senior Cruise, End-of-Year Lunches, Yearbook Signing Luncheon, Graduation practice, Baccalaureate Mass (in conjunction with Campus Ministry), Graduation Ceremony and Grad Night.
Work with the Senior Class Council and the Alumni Office to commission a Senior Gift.
Help each class plan a service project, social activity and fundraiser.
Assist with and attend Mass or other event during which Junior Class Rings will be distributed.
Coordinate SOARientation Events:
Arrange pictures, employee luncheon, freshman and transfer student orientations.
Assist with special projects, including:
Eighth grade visitation, Back to School Night, Faculty/Staff Appreciation, Fall Open House, Winter Open House, Rock for Peace and Club Rush.
Create marketing and promotional material including tickets/bids, flyers, presentations, slideshow/videos for school/student events in a format for publishing on ETV, website and print.
Advisor/chaperone of Eagle Pack and to coordinate related trips.
Oversee school programs under the Activities Department, including Mock Trial, Ice Hockey, Song leading, Equestrian, Surfing, Robotics and Esports.
Coordinate in-game entertainment (National Anthem, half-time, etc.) for various athletic events.
Oversee/program Activities media sources (i.e. social media, school webpages) to promote school/student events.
Program/operate school marquee/message centers and campus digital signage.
Program/operate gym LED display boards and intelligent lighting system.
Assist the Assistant Principal, Campus Life when needed.
Complete other duties as assigned by Administration
BA/BS degree; (2) years working with high school students in a school environment; knowledge of Activities operations on a school campus; strong and pleasant communication skills with people of all ages; (1) year of major event planning or related experience; (1) year as a coach or moderator of major high school program or related experience; technical experience including computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (including Outlook, Teams, One Note, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Publisher), Internet skills (website, research, etc.); proven time management and organizational skills; high level of attention to detail; ability to quickly adapt to changes; positive attitude and demeanor; excellent financial aptitude (creating/reading budgets, income statements, Purchase Orders, etc.)
(2) years of major event planning experience with at least one (1) year coordinating high school events; at least two (2) years of experience using Adobe Photoshop/InDesign; understanding of current marketing/promotional trends including use of web and social media; working knowledge of Audio/Visual equipment including sound, lighting and video.
Full-time, 12-month position (Non-Exempt) with benefits as outlined in the Employee Handbook. Daytime working hours: evening, weekend and after school events frequently required
