Fr. Tolton Catholic High School is a faith-based high school in Columbia, Missouri. We currently have an opening for the 2021-22 school year for a full-time Math position teaching Advanced Algebra I, Algebra II, PreCalculus, and AP Calculus. Responsibilities: • Teaches a full teaching load which include Advanced Algebra I, Algebra II, PreCalculus, and AP Calculus. • Utilizes technology to impact student learning and increase communication. • Demonstrates support for the mission of Fr. Tolton Catholic High School by attitude, words, actions, and integrity. • Assists in maintaining discipline throughout the student body, in adherence to the Student Handbook. • Serves with parents, faculty, and student groups, as requested in advancing educational and related activities and objectives. • Possibility to sponsor, coach, or supervise extra-curricular activities. • Performs other duties as assigned by the Principal.

Qualification: • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in mathematics or related field. • State teaching licensure/certificate is preferred, but not a hiring prerequisite. • Familiarity with Google tools (Gmail, docs, sheets, etc), Google Classroom, and student information systems is preferred. • Understands the high school education culture and is able to interact professionally with students, faculty, and parents. • Ability to maintain professionalism in challenging situations. Physical Demands and other requirements: • Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks such as computer keyboarding, writing, and reading. • Required to maintain composure and to communicate appropriately in words and actions. • Required to monitor students in a variety of locations including those with noise and activity.
