St. Mary Catholic Central High School and Monroe Catholic Elementary School seek an energetic, engaging, creative, organized, and detail-oriented person to fill the role of Director of Admissions.
This is a full-time position shared between the Monroe Vicariate Catholic high school and the intra-parish Catholic Infant and Toddler to Grade 8 educational collaborative in the city of Monroe, Michigan.
The Director of Admission is part of SMCC’s Advancement Team and MCES’ Leadership Team. S/he will report to the SMCC President and the MCES Executive Principal, respectively. S/he is responsible for the ongoing development and execution of each School’s Comprehensive Enrollment Plan. These plans are expected to be data-informed action plans that enact strategies and policies focusing on attracting and retaining a diverse student body composed of mission-appropriate students that meet the school’s enrollment goals.
The successful candidate will possess exceptional writing, grammatical, and verbal communication skills. S/he must be comfortable sharing the Schools’ stories and brands in writing, through one-on-one conversation, and in public gatherings. S/he must possess excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. S/he must be professional, collaborative, courteous, and have a strong inclination toward customer service. S/he will be required to work with all levels of staff, faculty, and parents handling confidential and time-sensitive information.
Formal education and prior work experience in recruitment, sales, or other applicable fields are strongly preferred. Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite are required. Experience with enrollment management software platforms is preferred. Bilingual and fluent in Spanish, a plus.
Candidates must be supportive of the missions of SMCC and MCES and the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church.
