Bishop O’Connell is seeking a part-time licensed clinical social worker for the 2021 - 2022 school year. This position provides direct and indirect social work services to students experiencing social, emotional and/or behavioral problems that interfere with their performance in school, and facilitates communication among school, home, and community providers. The candidate will work closely with the school counselors to provide academic and social/emotional support to students. Candidates must have a masters degree in clinical social work, 2 or more years of experience in school social work, and be a practicing Catholic, dedicated to serving and supporting students in their development of the whole person. This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a knowledge of relevant local providers and social services.
