Edgewood College is seeking an inaugural Vice President for Mission, Values and Inclusion (VPMVI) to align and extend the College’s Dominican mission with its diversity, equity, inclusion and antiracism efforts. The VPMVI will be a forward-looking and inclusive leader who possesses a deep commitment to Edgewood College’s Catholic and Dominican mission and its community of learners who seek a world of justice and compassion. Reporting directly to the President, the Vice President for Mission, Values and Inclusion will work closely with students, faculty, staff, and other institutional leaders to strategically advance diversity and inclusion efforts across the College as essential to its part of its Dominican Catholic mission and vision. In addition to providing engaged and creative academic and administrative leadership, the Vice President for Mission, Values and Inclusion, whose responsibilities are a melding of the longstanding Vice President for Dominican Mission role with a renewed focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion work, will have the experience and spirit to promote and integrate the Catholic and Dominican mission across the entire spectrum of the College, with students, faculty, staff, and the Board of Trustees. The new VPMVI will uphold and strengthen a campus community that welcomes, promotes, and celebrates diversity and inclusion. The new VPMVI will strategically influence and collaborate with the President’s Cabinet to ensure the College is functioning in a manner consistent with its mission, heritage, and values. In addition, the new VPVMI will create, foster, and leverage connections on and off campus, including in the Madison area, to help Edgewood College be influential, valued, respected.
