La Salle College Preparatory seeks a Principal for July 2021 to fully embrace its history, mission, and philosophy. With a talented and dedicated faculty, staff, and administrative team, La Salle College Preparatory provides students opportunities to develop their passion in academics, the arts, athletics, and spiritual life. La Salle College Preparatory is committed to being a unique type of independent Catholic school that lives out its Lasallian charism. The school promotes a strong sense of caring, and its members consistently express a sense of belonging to a unique community—a family. All share and cherish the school’s commitment to fostering respect for others, appreciating diversity, and serving the community. La Salle College Preparatory was founded in 1956 at the request of His Eminence James Francis Cardinal McIntyre to the San Francisco District of the Brothers of the Christian Schools for construction and operation of a Catholic boys’ high school to serve the northern and eastern sections of the San Gabriel Valley. Today, La Salle College Preparatory continues to function as a private Catholic, co-educational, college preparatory high school. It is a Lasallian school - an educational institution that draws its philosophy and inspiration from the Christian Brothers, whose reputation for excellence in education extends back to 1680. In addition to providing strong academics, each Lasallian school cultivates a community of persons deeply conscious of their responsibilities to each other, which is central to their success. The school follows a president-principal administrative model and the principal reports to the president.
