Roanoke Catholic School is a PK-12 regional school located in the heart of the Roanoke Valley. Our high school, grades 8-12, operates on an 8 period day, with each period roughly 47 minutes each, and is comprised of approximately 175 students.
RCS teachers work in collaboration with the Principals and school officials to carry out the educational policies of the diocese and have responsibilities that are professional, instructional, managerial, and interpersonal. Teachers are expected to facilitate the learning of each student, comply with school rules and policies, and provide for the safety of students. The teacher is hired and appraised by the Principal and is expected to abide by the established policies and procedures of the Diocese of Richmond, particularly the Office of Catholic Schools.
