St. John the Evangelist School (PK-8) in Silver Spring is seeking a spiritual and educational school leader for grades Pre-K-8.
As a principal of St. John the Evangelist School, the individual must uphold the mission of our school. The mission of St. John the Evangelist School is to integrate Catholic philosophy and teaching with academic excellence.
St. John the Evangelist School is a parish, Catholic preschool (age 4) and elementary school (K-8) for boys and girls. We welcome students of all faiths and beliefs. At St. John the Evangelist School we seek to live out the Gospel message through our service to one another and to the larger community. We are ever thankful for the support of the parishioners, parents, priests, and the Immaculate Heart of Mary Sisters in sustaining the school’s mission to integrate Catholic philosophy with academic excellence.
Applicants must have a strong commitment to the Catholic faith, the ability to lead an excellent academic elementary school and the ability to create a school community where teachers and students can flourish.
