Middle School Principal

Chaminade College Preparatory School, an independent, Catholic school, is dedicated to developing the inherent spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and physical potential of young men in middle and high school. The Middle School Principal has its major focus on working with middle school students, parents, and faculty.

The Middle School Principal is specifically responsible to:

• Coordinate the Middle School curriculum, counseling, and testing programs with appropriate departments and staff
• Perform regular classroom observations and annually evaluate faculty members
• Conduct and chair regular meetings with the Middle School teaching teams
• Participate in the hiring process for school faculty
• Address student behavior and allocate the appropriate consequences
• Supervise Middle School activities
• Spearhead the process for creating the all-school calendar
• Act as administrative liaison and coordinator of the House System
• Maintain active membership in several leadership committees
