Technology Innovation Coordinator

Maryvale Preparatory School is seeking a full-time Technology Innovation Coordinator. This position is available immediately and is an exempt, full-time, 12-month position. Experience teaching Advanced Placement is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic record focusing on computer programming and technology and successfully pass a criminal background check. This position will report directly to the Head of the Upper School and work closely with Technology staff members.

Responsibilities include:

• Teach Upper School Technology courses (including Introduction to Computer Programming, AutoCAD, AP Computer Science Principles, and Web Design). Teaching experience of AP Computer Science A is a plus.
• Assist faculty members in hybrid/distance learning programs and technology support
• Assist students with technology related questions or concerns
• Provide hands-on technical support to students and faculty in a timely and courteous manner helping them troubleshoot issues
• Assist the Technology Staff with operating the auditorium audio/visual booth
• Continue to develop and implement the school’s technology integration plan for the academic curriculum in both divisions
• Develop and implement ongoing programs to foster responsible digital citizenship among students in grades 6-12
• Possibly serve as an Advisor in the student Advisory Program
• Participate in the school community with other duties as assigned
