This role is a dual leadership role serving as the Chief Medical Officer for St. Catherine Hospital and Bob Wilson Hospital and as the Regional Medical Director for the Kansas Region. As CMO, you will be responsible for providing leadership, strategic direction and overall operational management of physician services and medical staff administration. This role reports to the Chief Executive Officer to develop strategic plans, policies and address operational issues that build effective relationships between the hospital and its Medical Staff to produce excellence in clinical outcomes. Partners with the Chief Nursing Officer of each hospital to provide effective multidisciplinary approaches to clinical outcome management and environments of quality and safety. Additional responsibilities include establishing and implementing standards and policies within each hospital and across hospitals to ensure quality of medical care. This role works closely with the Group Chief Medical Officer and Centura CME to meet Centura operating group and system-wide strategies, goals, objectives and standards. Services as the primary community resource to all hospital communities and provides advice and counsel to Centura administrators on medical and administration matters related to medical practice and current affairs. As the Regional Medical Director, you will beresponsible to provide clinical and managerial health care leadership, problem-solve, communicate and strategically plan the development of the medical staff and clinic. The Regional Medical Director is also responsible to confirm compliance of medical staff with all state and federal requirements. The Regional Medical Director interacts with the corresponding Clinic Administrator and Assistant Administrator, the CHPG Chief Medical Officer, and the facility administration.
