Operate and maintain complex patient simulators and related equipment. Responsible for the operation and maintenance of audiovisual systems, digital video recording, and debrief systems. Assist students and faculty with preparing for and conducting simulation-based learning experiences and programming scenarios when needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in preparing for simulations and debriefing; accountable for having the room props, equipment and other resources prepared for the scheduled simulation center and learning laboratory activities
Responsible for the operation and maintenance of Simulators, Audio visual systems, Digital video recording and Debrief system
Troubleshoot issues with all patient simulators and related equipment
Assist faculty with technology and simulation
Coordination of simulation scheduling in collaboration of SIM team and faculty
DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Microsoft Office Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word
Bachelor's degree - Technology or Nursing
3-5 years of experience
SUPERVISION EXERCISED - None
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED
Desktop computer, including spreadsheet and word processing software; copy machine; fax machine, printers, and scanners.
