Our Lady of Mercy School seeks a college student (junior or senior year) who has decided not to return to college during the pandemic. We are offering a temporary full-time position working with students who have learning challenges and students who need academic enrichment. The instructional assistant works under the guidance of the Inclusion Director. The ideal candidate will be an education or psychology major who desires to work in a Catholic School, and has a friendly and pleasing personality. Attention to small detail is critical for success in this position. All employees at Our Lady of Mercy are offered a socially distanced, ventilated work space. We do not use or require hand-over-hand during the pandemic. This is an excellent opportunity for a student to gain valuable real world experience in a Blue Ribbon school.

Our Lady of Mercy School is a three time Blue Ribbon Award winning school, devoted to teaching and living the Catholic faith in community. Founded by the Sisters of Mercy, we have had an exceptional inclusion program for over twenty years. We have approximately 220 students grades PreK3 to 8. Currently we are offering a blended model, with 85% of our students in-person and 15% of our students distance learning.
