Bishop Machebeuf High School is hiring a Registrar/Academic Coordinator. The Registrar/Academic Coordinator will assist the Principal with academic operations, fulfill school registrar duties by registering and organizing student and family files and reports for the school, and assist the Front Office with day-to-day needs. The Registrar / Academic Coordinator will coordinate and oversee standardized testing.
The following is illustrative, but not exhaustive of the scope of responsibilities of the Registrar / Academic Coordinator:
Act as the Front Office Assistant, directing calls, answering the door, and greeting and directing visitors;
Assist with attendance and student tardies;
Take payments and give receipts;
Coordinate and assist with substitute teacher scheduling and operations at BMHS;
Assist Principal in the development of the academic calendar and developing and ordering of Student Handbook;
Assist Principal with annual reports (Archdiocesan, State of Colorado, etc.);
Organize weekly reports of students with D or F grades and eligibility of student athletes in coordination with Student Success Center staff and athletic director;
Assist Principal with collection and filing of faculty information, lesson plans, performance reviews, etc.;
Assist Principal with coordination of AP and standardized testing.
Assist Principal with coordination of Student Life activities calendar;
Order textbooks and oversee distribution of textbook rentals;
Support office staff and their work as needed.
Knowledge of and/or willingness to learn the basic teachings of the Catholic Church.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Skill in handling multiple tasks simultaneously
Skill in critical thinking and planning
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, notably Excel and FACTS SIS.
Professionalism in conduct, demeanor, and work habits;
Maintains a work schedule that maximizes availability to the school, students, and staff.
Passion and enthusiasm for the Catholic faith and delivering its mission through Catholic education; practicing Catholic.
