The Director of Enrollment is responsible for planning, leading and implementing a program to market Lancaster Catholic High School to prospective students and their families; and, ultimately, for enrolling new students in numbers sufficient to meet goals approved by the President.
In collaboration with the Director of Strategic Marketing and Communication and the Advancement Staff, the Director of Enrollment Management provides leadership, planning, management and implementation for Lancaster Catholic High School’s student recruitment and retention programs and events. Responsibilities include designing, implementing and leading a comprehensive enrollment management program built upon best practices in quantitative analysis, strategic decision-making, and an ethos of continuous improvement, while fostering a culture that emphasizes strong personal relationships, a high-touch, customer-service approach, effective communication and transparency, entrepreneurism, flexibility, and collaboration. The Director of Enrollment Management reports directly to the Director of Strategic Marketing and Communications and the President and works collaboratively with the senior staff and administrators.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Achieve annual goals for student enrollment.
In an ongoing manner, formulate, evaluate and revise a comprehensive admissions-specific marketing program addressing prospective students in parish religious education programs and the community at large.
In collaboration with the Director of Strategic Marketing and Communication, plan and Implement all aspects of the enrollment management-marketing program (which may include open houses, shadow programs, individual visits and tours for families, group tours, or information nights)
In collaboration with the Director of Strategic Marketing and Communication, design, develop and disseminate effective content across all communication channels in support of enrollment goals.
Seek out and exploit opportunities to put LCHS in front of relevant audiences (e.g. pulpit talks, community events, class reunions, baptism classes); continuously evaluate each opportunity in view of enrollment results and adjust this activity as dictated by the evaluation.
Actively cultivate relationships within the community; visit each pastor/DRE in person frequently and continue to foster the relationship through ongoing communication.
Regularly monitor constituent satisfaction with the school to raise retention rates.
Oversee the admissions and enrollment process which may include financial aid assistance, scholarship applications, course enrollment and any necessary registration paperwork.
Serve as the point of contact for new students and their families who may have questions about the school or the enrollment process.
Design and implement all re-enrollment activity with constant monitoring and reporting of student attrition and retention.
Prepare, maintain and regularly report current statistics regarding enrollment, geographical distribution of students, financial aid, and attrition. Interprets these statistics, when appropriate to the administration, faculty, and board of directors.
Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of the admissions/enrollment process.
In conjunction with Advancement staff, develop marketing tools, events and advertising campaigns, etc., that attract mission appropriate families.
Establish and execute effective recruitment strategies to draw and keep mission-appropriate families.
Respond personally and promptly to all new student inquiries with the goal of cultivating relationships of all mission-appropriate families.
Create and lead Parent Ambassador program to effectively support student recruitment programs and presentations.
In conjunction with the administrative staff, evaluate applicants for admission.
Keep appropriate records and statistics throughout the enrollment process.
In conjunction with administrative and counseling staff, develop tools and programs to assist in new student on-boarding and assimilation.
Develop and submit a written, detailed one and three-year marketing plan as the basis for all efforts to target, nurture, enroll and keep mission appropriate students.
Protect the confidentiality of student records.
Other duties as assigned.
Practicing Catholic, strong grasp of Catholic education and ability to effectively articulate the values and mission of Lancaster Catholic High School.
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business management, or a closely related field.
Minimum of 3 years demonstrated, successful professional experience working in fast-paced, sales/marketing driven enterprise, school admissions or comparable work.
Demonstrated excellence in multi-channel communication mediums and digital content development.
Ability to develop long range plan and manage the multiplicity of details of implementation.
Possesses high integrity and strong work ethic.
Must enjoy working with the public and be effective in verbal and written communications with diverse audiences.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with all the school’s constituents while maintaining absolute confidentiality and professionalism in appearance, attitude, and presentation.
Strategic thinker with a “can-do” style.
Highly self-directed with an attention to detail and ability to organize effectively, and able to manage multiple projects effectively.
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with students, staff, faculty, and the public.
Advanced computer skills, including CRM software and all Microsoft Office applications.
Requires some work on weekends as well as travel. Must have valid driver’s license.

Regular lifting of up to 15 lbs. and occasional lifting up to 40 lbs. during events.
