St. Paul the Apostle School, located at 61 Moss Road in Westerville, Ohio is seeking a dedicated, experienced, and proven leader for the position of Principal beginning in the summer of 2020.
St. Paul School is an apostolate of St. Paul the Apostle Parish in Westerville, Ohio. Our parish is fully committed to the New Evangelization and the mission of Christ to form disciples. Our parish mission statement is simple and informs everything that we do: “Inspired by St. Paul, Centered on Christ, Called to Holiness.”We strive to live “from the heart of the Church” in all that we do. Our school is a community committed to teaching, living and learning in the light of Christ. We are the largest elementary school in the Diocese of Columbus, with an enrollment of 761 students in Kindergarten through 8th Grade, and 56 students in our Preschool.
We are seeking a Principal who is a committed and faithful Catholic and strives to continue the mission of Christ of forming missionary disciples in and through Catholic Education. In addition, the Principal must be a skilled educator capable of continuing the tradition of academic excellence at St. Paul School.
The next leader of our school will possess a strong sense of spiritual leadership in order to educate the whole child, and will have the instructional leadership experience to successfully implement and support the Diocese of Columbus Learning Standards. Excellent written and verbal skills and proven leadership and management experience are a must. Candidates must possess a Master’s degree and administrator’s license or be eligible to obtain one. A current FBI/BCI background check, attendance at the VIRTUS Protecting God’s Children seminar and a completed online administrator’s application for the Diocese of Columbus must be submitted as part of the application process.
