St. Mary Elementary-Middle School, located at 274 North Prospect Street in Marion, Ohio is seeking an experienced and dynamic leader for the position of Principal beginning in the summer of 2020.
Since 1875, St. Mary Catholic Church has operated a school that focuses on faith, academics, and service. We offer academic excellence and spiritual guidance with highly qualified teachers in a safe, structured community. Our school helps students in grades K-8 to become self-disciplined, independent, life-long learners who grow to understand the obligations of human life, the dignity of the individual and the shared responsibility for our common good.
We are seeking a principal who is a proven leader, capable of helping us grow in our mission of evangelization and excellence in education. Candidates must be practicing Catholics and possess a Master’s degree and administrator’s license or be eligible to obtain one. A current FBI/BCI background check, attendance at the VIRTUS Protecting God’s Children seminar and a completed online administrator’s application for the Diocese of Columbus must be submitted as part of the application process. Spanish language ability and cultural competence are a plus.
