Applications are currently being accepted for a faith-filled, passionate, and dedicated educator to serve as Principal of All Saints Catholic Academy beginning in July, 2020. The successful candidate must be a devout and practicing Roman Catholic who upholds the teachings of the faith and who exemplifies an unwavering commitment to academically excellent Catholic education that is rooted in Gospel values and Catholic traditions. He or she must exemplify strong leadership skills in the areas of team and community-building, and must be committed to motivating and inspiring his or her teachers to continually grow in their faith as well as in their knowledge and application of research-supported best instructional practices.
The All Saints Catholic Academy Principal serves as a collaborative leader and works closely with his or her Pastoral Team and teachers to create a dynamic school culture in which faith formation and continuous academic improvement are at the heart of institutional advancement. Within this culture, tradition is honored, change is embraced, Professional Learning Communities are nurtured, and lifelong learning on the part of administrators, students, parents, and staff members is valued.
The Principal must possess an advanced degree in educational leadership and hold a current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a General Administrative Endorsement, a Principal Endorsement, or equivalent. Additionally, the candidate must have to his or her credit at least five years of successful teaching and/or administrative experience, preferably in a Catholic school. Most importantly, the candidate is expected to understand and adhere to all principles and tenets of the Catholic faith, to maintain a lifestyle that is in full accord with Church teachings, and to promote the best interests of his or her students and the Roman Catholic Church at all times. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
