As important as academics are, the spiritual program of the school is an essential characteristic which sets Saint Ignatius apart. While respecting all faith traditions, Saint Ignatius is a Catholic high school defined by Jesuit spirituality. The school’s motto is “Men for Others,” and its Graduate at Graduation vision challenges students to emerge from the school as “Open to Growth, Intellectually Competent, Religious, Loving, and Committed to work for peace and justice.
Saint Ignatius operates in the President/Principal leadership model, and the school seeks a dynamic, faith-filled practicing Catholic for its new Principal, beginning July 1, 2020. Domain knowledge in Catholic secondary education is desired, as well as an entrepreneurial spirit and a visible, approachable leadership style. The next Principal will need to be grounded in mission while also providing visionary leadership in the field of teaching and learning excellence This is an outstanding and rare leadership opportunity to build on Saint Ignatius’ proud and distinguished history while helping to take this extraordinary institution to the next level.
