Bishop Machebeuf High School is currently seeking a science teacher to teach all levels of science for 9th grade through 12th grade.
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in science with an emphasis in secondary education.
Possession of, or ability to obtain through alternative licensure program, Colorado teaching license with appropriate endorsement.
Passion for (and understanding of) science content.
Ability and desire to support high school students in their spiritual and intellectual formation.
Ability to publicly support and live out the values of the Gospel as taught by the Catholic Church.
Ability to apply principles, theories, methods, techniques, and strategies pertaining to classroom instruction of high school science.
Understanding of curriculum design and mapping.
Interest in (and the ability to use) educational technology in the classroom.
Knowledge of the state Curriculum Content Standards.
