We are seeking an experienced math teacher that has a familiarity with Understanding by Design, Standards Based Grading, and integration of classroom technology, including using student I-pads to facilitate instruction and assessment.
In addition, St. Petersburg Catholic High School has been approved as a candidate school* for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. The school is now pursuing authorization as an IB World School. IB World Schools share a common philosophy – a commitment to high-quality, challenging, international education, which St. Petersburg Catholic believes is important for its students. St. Petersburg Catholic began the candidacy phase at the start of the 2018-2019 school year. A four year degree in math from an accredited college or university; master's degree preferred.
Florida Department of Education Certification in the applicable subject area or statement of eligibility.
Previous teaching experience at the high school level.
Prefrence for previous AP and IB Diploma Programme experience.
Pass a Level II Background Screeing as well as complete Safe Environment training.
