OVERALL ROLE AND SCOPE
The Vice President for Strategic Growth, in collaboration with the BCS President, is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of the key functions that impact the growth and success of the organization: strategy, growth, enrollment, innovation, engagement, communication, marketing, and customer experience. This includes developing strategy and vision, executing and producing toward targeted outcomes, managing data and key performance indicators, budgeting, leading teams, developing positive relationships, and creating strong internal and external communication plans. The VPSG develops and maintains a strong working relationship with the BCS Foundation to ensure that communication, planning, marketing, brand imaging, and execution of events and operations are aligned and effective.
EXPERIENCE and EDUCATION
An appropriate bachelor’s degree, masters preferred.
Experience in Strategic Enrollment Management and understanding the aspects of the enrollment process, including recruitment and retention.
Strong marketing and/or sales experience, including developing and implementing targeted marketing campaigns and analyzing data.
Experience in creating an environment that focuses on maximizing operations, creating efficiencies, making change, and implementing innovative solutions.
Excellent written and communication skills, including with media and the public.
Ability to create vision and think strategically as well as implement specific strategies and operations.
A background in understanding key business practices and operational excellence.
Strong experience leading teams, supervising staff, working with volunteers and creating a forward thinking, engaging, and accountable work culture.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written.
