The Catholic Diocese of Richmond, VA seeks a highly qualified, innovative and strategic leader for the position of Associate Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction, Office of Catholic Schools. The Associate Superintendent implements the mission of the Office of Catholic Education in the areas of: Curriculum, instruction, technology, professional development, Catholic identity, federal programs, supervision, administration, school accreditation and data-driven decision making.
The Associate Superintendent will supervise the development of consensus curriculum and ensure the implementation at the school level. This position will also assist the Superintendent and Associate Superintendent of Schools for Operations with general oversight of regional school administrators and will oversee the development and implementation of school learning plans for continuous school improvement.
The successful candidate must have a Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Administration, or equivalent; will have served as a Catholic school administrator in the role of principal or head of school (7+ years preferred); will demonstrate high-level skills in the areas of: Communication, interpersonal relationships, organization and leadership; and must be a practicing Catholic in good standing.
Additional Salary Information: Commensurate with experience.
